CHUCK PANOZZO will be reading & booksigning for "The Grand Illusion: Love, Lies, and My Life With Styx"
Friday, June 22 at 7 pm at The Booksmith (1644 Haight Street in San Francisco)

Chuck Panozzo is the bass player in Styx, whose mid-'70s hits "Mr. Roboto" and "Lady" are staples of classic rock radio. "The Grand Illusion: Love, Lies, and My Life With Styx" is a no-holds-barred, backstage pass to one of the biggest rock bands of the last three decades. It is also the true story of Panozzo’s 50-year struggle to reconcile his public life as a rock star with his private life as a gay man.

Chuck Panozzo is the bass player for and a founding member of Styx - the first band to score four consecutive triple platinum records. Since 2001, he has been involved in campaigning for AIDS awareness and gay rights.
