CAP, the
Comprehensive AIDS Program of the Palm Beach County will host its second
annual CAPPY Awards. The awards recognize individuals who utilize
their skills in the field of HIV / AIDS to fight the epidemic on the
local, state, national or global
community.
The
evening’s event will be filled with great food, entertainment and
cocktails on Friday, October 26, 2007, at 7 P.M., at The National Croquet
Center in West Palm Beach, and will be highlighted by the CAPPY Awards
presentation. This encourages and stimulates community and corporate
involvement in fighting HIV / AIDS. To be considered for an award,
nominations must be received by Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Winners and
sponsors will be recognized on the CAP website and in the event
program.
The proceeds
will benefit CAP, which provides HIV / AIDS education and programs and
services for children and adults living with HIV / AIDS in Palm Beach
County. Each year CAP assists more than 3,000 men, women and children in
Palm Beach County. Support from the CAPPY Awards helps ensure that CAP is
able to continue its mission and make a
difference in our
community.
