Good-Bye UK, Hello Belgium!

We took the ferry at Dover across the English Channel to Calais, France this afternoon, past the white cliffs we'd only seen in photographs until today. We hung out in the lot with the rest of the motorists for the ferry to arrive, and while we were there we shot some more video footage and quite a few still photos.

After months of looking forward to our UK dates, they are now a page in the Book of STYX, and one that we'll always look fondly upon. For so many years this was not an option for us. It takes everyone in the band being willing to commit to what it takes to make a trip like this a reality, and I don't think it's something anyone should be forced to do. That would make it work and while this is taxing physically, it can be a life affirming experience if you can get your mind wrapped around the concept. Otherwise it might be daunting and if you are not comfortable traveling outside your realm of control and influence, it might be just to much to take on. But enough of trying to put myself in that space. We are here. We have found our audience still there for us, and there for us with bells on. There is daily discussion as to when, how, where and every other aspect of returning as soon as we can. Every night fans in the UK asked us this question--"When will you be coming back?" The wheels are turning and when these wheels get started, they don't stop until things are figured out, so know that it's a matter of importance to make the UK a regular part of STYXworld from now on.

Thanks to all of you for effecting this change!

Onward...
