20-Jun-96 -- Last night in Boston the red carpet was rolled out for James and Suzie Young, Tommy Shaw, with Jeanne and Bubba (their dog who travels with them on the road), Todd Sucherman and several other friends. Though the Bad Boys from Boston (Aerosmith, of course) were not in town, they extended their hospitality by opening the doors to their night club, "Mama Kin", with a grand tour by manager Jackey. They signed some autographs for STYX fans who work there, and after some browsing through the gift shoppe and loading up on "Mama Kin" hats, zippo lighters, t-shirts etc., and some fine "Mama Kin" liquid refreshments, the boys headed out to the next destination...The hospitality was returned by a major addition to the Greatwoods concert guest list for Aerosmith's extended family... Maestro please... Next week in Atlanta, after a quick swing through eastern Canada, STYX will have its rehearsal with 97 other musicians who will join them on June 29th at Chastain Park in Atlanta, better known as The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. It will be the first such experience for STYX, but not for ASO. "We are all excited to hear our music amplified to such an extreme," chimed Tommy Shaw yesterday in Cincinnati. "But the most important thing for me is, have my mother be there and TAKE MY PICTURE!!!"
