Hello Friends,
Just as we predicted, the Washington State fans could have cared less about a little bit of rain when it came time to come to a ROCK SHOW. Our pals REO joined us last night in front of a massive crowd who came there to rock. As usual, STYX fans came with STUFF, just as we do, and as you can see we were adorned with theirs within minutes of kicking off our set. It was a physical crowd down front and a couple of times I came close to a wrestling match to hold on to my guitar and my position on the stage when several excited young female fans got their grips on me and my guitar. Oh the things we must endure...
Thanks to all our friends who made it yet another unforgettable night.
This afternoon we're back in Montana to another incredibly dramatic day. The sound of a flowing creek fills the air from my open window and in this near distance a bridge cuts across my view of a cloud shrouded mountain view in the background. The fresh Montana air is so crisp and clean it's almost disturbing. Check out the photo back on the front page of STYXworld.com at the top of the group of snapshots on the right to see for yourself...
I heard Ronald Reagan say, in a clip Barbara Walters showed retrospecting her 25 years on 20/20, about how "God really did shed his grace on America..." It is so true. As much as we travel, my mind simply cannot hold all the countless beautiful vistas I've seen out here in my memory banks. They always take me by surprise.
